grandson of B-P, Founder of the Scouts. His father, Peter, son of Robert
Baden-Powell and Olave, was the First Vice-President of the AISG-ISGF-World
Scout and Adult Guides in 1953. Lord Robert Cause Baden-Powell was 'Bronze
Wolf' Scout World and belonged to the British Scout Association serving in
various national and international positions. Rest in peace! The 'Gilwell Scout
Club of Granada' of AGAE-AISG will have it present in the Eucharist that it
organizes for next February 15; and that will be held in the Parish of San Juan
María Vianney, near the Granada street Baden-Powell and the Scout Plaza
López-Dóriga, Mass that is celebrated annually to commemorate the World Day of
Scout Thought and Guide, and the Founders Day , with the participation of the
Musical Guilda of Granada.-

On December 28, 2019, he died at 82 years old Lord Robert
Crause Baden-Powell, Third Baron Baden-Powell of Gilwell, grandson of the Scout
Founder.
His father, Peter, son of Robert Baden-Powell and Olave, was
the First Vice-President of the AISG-ISGF-World Scout and Adult Guides in 1953.
Lord Robert Cause Baden-Powell belonged to the British Scout
Association serving in several local, national and international positions. He
was Chief Commissioner of the British Scouts from 1965 to 1982. He directed the
British Contingent to the 14th World Scout Jamboree in 1975 in Lillehammer,
Norway. He was Deputy Head of the Camp in two Canadian National Jamborees (1979
and 1983) and also for the World Scout Jamboree in Canada in 1983, where he was
awarded the highest World Scout distinction, the 'Bronze Wolf' as the 'Silver
Fox' 'of the Scouts of Canada. He led the British Delegation at the Nairobi
World Scout Conference in 1973, and attended two other World Scout Conferences
as a member of the British Delegation.
Robert lived in Surrey, in a country house on the outskirts
of London, in the English countryside.
He worked as a finance agent in London. He liked greyhounds
and horses.
He died after fighting long illness, maintaining his sense
of humor and his smile.
Robert was a widower and had no children, our condolences to
his closest family.

Robert was a great-nephew of Agnes Baden-Powell, Baden Baden-Powell, George Baden-Powell, and Warington Baden-Powell, and a great-grandson of the Rev. Prof. Baden Powell.[2][3]
Family history
Upon leaving the Royal Navy, he set up a liquor business in Nottingham, which he called "Whisky a Gogo". Upon the death of his father in 1962, he succeeded to the barony and baronetcy. On 1 August 1963, he married Patience Hélène Mary Batty, only daughter of Major Douglas Myers Batty, of Melsetter, Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), by his wife Elsie May Loker. They subsequently discovered that they had been at primary school together in Southern Rhodesia.
Upon marriage, she became Lady Baden-Powell; she served with many charities including, YWCA, Girls Alone in London, the National Playbus Association, NSPCC, Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council, SPCK, Surrey Council for Voluntary Youth Services, Surrey Antiques Fair, Walton Firs Camp Site as well as various local and national offices of the Girl Guides, for which she became Commonwealth Chief Commissioner, and, latterly a vice-president. She was a vice President of the Scout Association. She also conducted a successful business life and was a director of Imperial Life of Canada, Surrey Radio, and Fieldguard. She was appointed a CBE] for her services to youth and was a Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Surrey. She died in 2010.[1][6]
Lord Baden-Powell became a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Mercers, of which his grandfather had been Master. He kept and bred American Quarter Horses.
Scouting
Lord Baden-Powell served the British Scout Association in a number of local, national and international capacities. He was chief scout commissioner from 1965 to 1982. He led the British contingent to the 1975 14th World Scout Jamboree at Lillehammer, Norway, was a Deputy Camp Chief for two Canadian national Jamborees (1979 & 1983) and also for the World Scout Jamboree in Canada in 1983, where he was awarded the highest awards in both World Scouting (Bronze Wolf) and Canadian Scouting (Silver Fox). He led the British delegation to the World Scout Conference in Nairobi in 1973, and attended two others as a delegation member.Business
Lord Baden-Powell was a local authority finance broker in the City of London, a director of the Bolton Building Society and latterly the London Board of the Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society. He was also a director of a number of unit trusts (now part of F&C), and of other companies. He was chairman of the Sheldon Grange Housing Association. At his death he was managing director of Fieldguard Ltd.Public service
